inspiration #31: coral, peach & aqua
Morning lovelies! Did you all have a lovely weekend? I’ve been preparing some amazing posts to share with you over the next few weeks and been spending some time relaxing and enjoying the last of the sunshine! Over the next few weekends things are going to be busy with visiting The Luxury Wedding Show, a launch party for a beautiful new wedding venue (more on that soon) and preparing for a shoot with lots of DIY elements I’m working on. Last Friday I shared a really simple DIY project over on the TWIPS blog, which may, just may, be a little sneak peek into something I’m working on
Today’s inspiration combines some of my favourite colours at the moment, a soft coral and peachy pink, and a misty aqua that remind me of the romantic freshness of weddings in spring, with a vintage touch. This is the perfect palette for a romantic bride who wants to bring her wedding into the 21st Century. Coral and peach are classic colours that add a timeless quality, but by using big bold blooms like these gorgeous roses add a modern edge. In contrast, pale aqua is a thoroughly modern accent that, used sparingly, brings the whole scheme bang up to date! Use an ivory, or cream base rather than white to keep a warmth to the scheme, and use tiny pops of aqua throughout your stationery, bouquets and decor. A daring modern bride may even go as far as a coloured dress, like the delicate and ruffly peach gown, completely swoon-worthy!
