inspiration board #76: pretty protea

Hey lovely ladies! How was your weekend? What a scorcher! I spent most of the weekend in London with the UKAWP learning some new business skills, developing my styling business and meeting some wonderful new wedding friends. Mr B and I enjoyed a balmy date night on the Southbank at the pop up Wahaca, if you haven’t been yet take a break from your planning and go! Don’t you just love summer :)

Today’s board is one I’ve had stuck in my head for a very long time, combining the best of modern romance, contemporary style with a sprinkling of vintage charm. In dusky pink and pewter it’s such a pretty choice for a romantic bride looking for an elegant wedding with a dash of wow. Team statement proteas, striking South African flowers with natural structure and unusual style, with pale, soft roses to create a striking bouquet, and arrange in pewter and clear glass vases on your reception tables. A few strings of fairy lights add a pretty, intimate glow. Elegant script fonts teamed with subtle blush patterns and ombre details are feminine but keep stationery looking clean and modern. Bridesmaids in chic pewter dresses, and elegant tumbling curls add relaxed glamour. A beautiful vintage lace dress with a streamlined silhouette makes for a stunning bride teamed with an elegant chignon, use the lace detail to inspire your wedding cake to continue vintage elegance throughout the day.

I have always been a creative soul, from glitter-filled art room projects to a degree in Interior Design, followed by a decade working in the corporate world. Planning my wedding fuelled an undiscovered passion for discovering pretty things, an obsession with perfect details and a love for love. B.LOVED is a place I can indulge and share my passions; weddings, interiors, fashion, travel, family and beauty, things all women love. It’s without doubt I can say I have the best job ever!
